Industry 4.0 will drive a major change in tomorrow’s workforce as highlighted by the Boston Consulting Group’s (BCG) 2015 report. There will be a need for "Industrial Data" with strong Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills, user interface design, advanced analytics, root-cause-analysis skills scientists and statistical programming. Embedded E-Learning tools to be used in real-world situations and ICT skills need to be integrated into all technicians, engineering and business curricula.

 

Creatives Discussing Project

The Innovation 4.0 Hub will have short courses on the theme of the “Smart and Digital Enterprise”.

These courses will include the following topics:

  • Artificial Intelligence;

  • Big data: reliability, variability, sharing and security;

  • Collaborative robotics;

  • Additive manufacturing;

  • Modeling and simulation of design and machining processes;

  • Intelligent manufacturing systems;

  • Etc.
